BNSF RailwayPort Crane Graphics
BNSF Railway
Large format 3M Reflective Screen Printed Decal
Project Overview:
BNSF has North America’s largest intermodal facilities spread across their network, where they use cranes to load containers on and off trains for further movement by railroad or by truck to their final destination. Some of these are wide-span electric cranes. Port cranes are generally designed to lift weights ranging from 40 to 120 metric tons.
Challenge:
INPS was tasked with the on-site installation of large-scale graphics for the BNSF Port Crane in Seattle. To ensure precision and efficiency, INPS deployed a dedicated on-site installation team equipped with scaffolding and a detailed graphic template.
The project presented several logistical challenges, including working at height and ensuring the accurate alignment of the graphics on complex surfaces. The installation required meticulous planning and coordination to minimize disruption and adhere to tight timelines.
Solution:
INPS utilized a custom graphic template to guide the installation process, ensuring that every element of the graphic was perfectly positioned according to the client’s specifications. Scaffolding was strategically erected to provide safe and stable access to all areas requiring graphic application. The on-site team, comprised of skilled installers, worked diligently to execute the project with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
