Northstar Commuter Rail

Project Overview:
INPS was tasked with the comprehensive removal, supply, and installation of a full vehicle wrap for a Northstar Commuter Rail locomotive (Motive Power-MP36PH-3C). This project involved covering a decal area of 1500 square feet, transforming the appearance of the locomotive to align with Northstar’s branding and visual identity.

Challenge:
One of the primary challenges of this project was the need to paint areas and hardware that could not be wrapped. These components had to match Northstar’s brand colors and schemes precisely, ensuring a seamless integration with the wrapped sections. Additionally, the project required a swift one-month turnaround, demanding precise coordination and execution.

Solution:
INPS successfully completed the locomotive wrap within the required timeframe, overcoming the challenges of color matching and integration of painted areas with wrapped surfaces. The project enhanced the visibility and branding of the Northstar Commuter Rail, contributing to its recognizable and professional appearance.
